چکیده

The present work demonstrates a totally radical change in conduction nature from typical p-type to n-type through ionic transport FeCl3 doped free-standing poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) films. thermodiffusion of Cl? ions generated giant negative Seebeck coefficient (?2.7 mV/K) and moderately high electrical conductivity (?1 S/cm); an unprecedented level polymers. A thermoelectric power generator fabricated using these P3HT films delivered output 25 ?W with open circuit voltage 128 mV for ?T 46 °C. Though continuous operation reduced the due inability pass interface between metallic contact, yet was found be quite stable over period 1 h under load. With such coefficient, show great potential energy harvesting intermittent heat sources as well supercapacitor charging futuristic storage devices.

Giant Seebeck effect in Ge-doped SnSe

Thermoelectric materials may contribute in the near future as new alternative sources of sustainable energy. Unprecedented thermoelectric properties in p-type SnSe single crystals have been recently reported, accompanied by extremely low thermal conductivity in polycrystalline samples. In order to enhance thermoelectric efficiency through proper tuning of this material we report a full structur...

Can the Seebeck Coefficient Identify Quantum Interference in Molecular Conduction?

We look for manifestations of quantum interference effects in the Seebeck coefficient of a molecular junction, when the electronic conductance exhibits pronounced destructive interference features due to the presence of quasi-degenerate electronic states, which differ in their spatial symmetry. We perform our analysis by considering three separate limits for electron transport: coherent, fully ...

Pressure Effect of Seebeck Coefficient for Zinc Doped Tin Clathrates

We measured the temperature dependence of electrical resistance (R) and thermopower (S) of Cs8Zn4Sn42 under high pressure up to 1.2 GPa. Both R and |S| at room temperature increased with pressure. We observed gap widening, irreversible |S| increasing under high pressure, which were similar to the behaviors of Cs8Sn44. However, the relaxation effect of R for Cs8Zn4Sn42 was negligible in contrast...
